Adly Elewa

Hi, I am Adly Elewa. I have worked at Farrar, Straus and Giroux with Rodrigo Corral, and Penguin Press with Darren Haggar designing books. I then worked at ICRAVE branding restaurants, nightclubs and hotels. I now work at Milk Agency as a creative lead. I am always available for freelance.

The full story.

I am a multi-disciplinary graphic designer and a born and bred New Yorker. I have been designing book covers, magazines, movie posters, logos, advertisements, websites, and apps professionally since my graduation from The School of Visual Arts.

I am currently a creative lead at Milk Agency. I previously collaborated with an interior design firm called ICRAVE to develop brand identities for hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs. I was included in the strategy and brainstorming sessions from the very beginning to ensure a holistic point of view for each project.
Prior to joining ICRAVE I have spent time in the design departments of noted publishing giants Farrar, Straus and Giroux and Penguin Random House. I have freelanced for award-winning advertising and design firms McCann, Mother, and Anomaly. I have also served as the Lead Designer at a small tech startup focused on disrupting the hospitality industry.

From 2015 - 2019, I designed a highly acclaimed literary magazine called American Chordata alongside New York Magazine’s staff photographer Bobby Doherty. The magazine has been called “Brilliantly designed” by It’s Nice That and Easily the best (and best looking) new literary mag on the stand.” by the AIGA.
